This is an intimate audio portrait of world-renowned guitarist, Larry Coryell. He speaks candidly of past mistakes made both in his work and in his private life. From then to now: Coryell’s priorities have changed drastically since his immersion in the New York jazz scene of the mid-1960’s. Now as a practicing Buddhist it seems that music has become just a little bit less consuming, while his life is taking on a rich tune of its own.
Produced by Katie Ball, running time 6 minutes, 54 seconds

I dug this! Cool piece on a guy I have never heard of before. Thank you for helping me to be less of a musical idiot!

But I was fascinated by how he’s grown as a musician and as a man as a result of his Buddhist philosophy.
