This is an oldie but a goody. As a producer with a few more years under my belt it takes every bit of strength I have not to rework this entire piece, but it wouldn’t show a fair representation of my progress. And in truth, the locked-in-time quality of this piece still holds up as a testament to an Orlando band that was admired by folks from all walks of life - and for that I’m proud to share it with you.
Running time: 13 minutes. Produced by Katie Ball - June, 2006.
The Heathens are no more but the individual band members are still going strong in assorted projects, namely: Matt Butcher and the Revolvers (www.myspace.com/mattbutchermusic) and the band Mumpsy (www.myspace.com/mumpsy). Also check out Post Records (www.myspace.com/Post_Records). - kball

Hi Katie,
I’m sure I’ll see you and a few friends at Matt’s cd release show - December 6th.

I remember talking to Matt about a solo release (outside of Rock & Roll Heaven) sometime before the late great HEATHENS split. By the way the Ivanhoe Village Main Street First Friday was a blast!
